Oaklands busy at MM Ready to Run sale

OAKLANDS Stud was one of the busiest vendors at the racehorses in training sale on the Gold Coast on September 28.


The stud offered six two-year-olds on behalf of clients and sold a colt by the Nureyev horse Fasliyev from the well related Reemi Albaraani for $145,000. Malayasian buyer K T Lan was the successful bidder on the bay colt, whose family includes the talented Morshdi.

Singapore-based Australian John Meagher paid $44,000 for a colt by the Australian Guineas winner Kenny’s Best Pal from the winning Atropine mare Tropine Queen.

Another of the Oaklands draft to sell particularly well was the Danasuria-Rapid Planet colt which went to Queensland’s Peter Bennett for $39,000.
